RITZ HISTORY

The Ritz Theatre was built in 1929 and beautifully restored in 2009 by MountainPlex Properties, LLC. The Ritz is an anchor in the revitalization of the Hinton National Historic District. The Ritz Theatre now accommodates a performing arts stage, state-of-the-art digital cinema and sound. The Ritz maintains the circa 1929 appearance while being updated to accommodate new blockbuster films as well as business conferences and special events.
