The Queen of Katwe is the true story of a young Ugandan girl pursuing her dream.     Everyone  has  dreams!  Victory 1:27 is a ministry instilling hope and fulfilling dreams in the lives of young African boys and girls.  For just pennies a day, you too can instill hope in a child.

Greg and Lori Rogers have done just that and will be traveling to Uganda with a team of 4 others to see their child, as well as some of the other 80 plus children supported by the Victory 1:27 ministry.

The movie was filmed in Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda, where the Rogers will be visiting. So you will have a  “real feel”  for the culture of that area.

We would like to take 6 laptop computers to aide in the schools of these children, as well as clothes, soccer balls, candy, etc.  You will have an opportunity to give toward this ministry at this special presentation at The Ritz Theater, both before and after the film, or you can visit Victory127.com to give there, as well as see many more aspects of the ministry.

Donations accepted by Greg and Lori Rogers
